Hardwood floors are looking pretty and expensive to install. But keep it clean is not necessarily the easiest thing to do. Growing up in a house with wooden floor, I know how hard it was for my mother to keep the floors shiny, especially with four children. With two boys and two girls constantly in and out of the house with various forms of the "outside world" caked to our shoes, I think my mother finally just given up. If they create the ground rules for the leadership, followeda floor with the four of us tracking Mother Nature in clean every day, she would have no time for anything else.
Dirt and dust your floor's worst enemy. Although microscopic in size, the granules scratching floor is finished and over time your mirror-finished floor is transformed into a hive is more reminiscent of the floors of the cabins long ago inhabited by our ancestors. Below are some tips to make your investment in new splendor, forthe coming years.

For stubborn stains, lightly moisten a cloth with the manufacturer's recommendations and apply cleaner directly on the stain. Do not use petroleum based cleaning products, water paints.
And when the soil loses its luster and shine, it's time to recoat. Unless you yourself are a professional floor cleaner, hire someone.
For wax finishes:
Regularly with a dry untreated dust mop mop. Vacuum sweep or dust mop regularly to remove gritthe ground.
Junior can spill his soda on waxed floor as easily as it relates to a surface finish. Follow the same instructions.

To put it simply, cleaning wood floors is not rocket science. It only takes a little effort on the part of consumers. Dirt and dust, though small and almost naked to the human eye in most cases, your floor's worst enemy. Keep these enemies of your floor cleaned at regular intervals and you get to enjoy a bright, shiny floor for yearcome.
